These materials are suitable for electrical applications requiring a composite material with a UL Yellow card and low flammability performance.

Rosite™ and Dielectrite™ standard polyester composites offer a wide range of physical, mechanical, electrical and thermal performance characteristics in the combinations needed to meet most product specifications. Custom formulations, in virtually any quantity, can be developed.

Rosite™

Rosite™ materials are formulated for molding to very tight tolerances. Shrink-controlled materials can hold tolerances of 0.05%. Rosite™ high performance electrical composites have good dimensional stability (creep resistance), even at elevated temperatures.

Proprietary ingredients enhance the fire quenching characteristics of Rosite™ thermoset polyester composites. Gases released by an electrical arc help suppress arcing and allow the interruption ratings of electrical switching and safety devices to be increased.

High strength Rosite™ BMC composites are suitable for use in applications requiring flammability performance from UL94 HB, V-0 & 5VA. Rosite™ thermoset composites are formulated to provide outstanding thermal performance with Relative Thermal Index (RTI) rating of 130°C – 180°C.

Dielectrite™

Dielectrite™ is suitable for electrical applications requiring a composite material that possesses a UL Yellow card and flammability performance from UL94 HB, V-0 & 5VA.

Dielectrite™ is available as either a sheet molding compound or bulk molding compound to suit your needs.
