IDI Composites International high-performance thermoset molding compounds are lightweight and exceptionally strong, exhibiting better strength-to-weight ratios than most metals. These composite materials are also corrosion resistant, creep resistant, and exhibit excellent thermal properties compared to engineered thermoplastic-based products and metals.
Thermoset composites are available in bulk molding compound (BMC), sheet molding compound (SMC), and continuous impregnated compound (CIC) depending on the application. IDI Composites International manufactures product at its four locations worldwide to preserve product shelf life and respond to time-sensitive customer requirements.
BMC and SMC are produced at our facilities in North America, the UK, France, and Shanghai. CIC is produced only at our facility in Vineuil, France.
