Bulk Molding Compound (BMC) is currently specified by major appliance makers for components such as vent trims, range and refrigerator handles, control panels, door skins, and housings and cooling coil drip pans for room air conditions. Components made with thermoset composites maintain specified color and heat-resistant properties, and are not a source of scrap generated by secondary painting operations.
